Kdam breakfast question......

Thanks Ruth cause I need to have a mental plan in place with the KDam.

One thing you can do is grab yourself a box (or two) of cereal, and keep it on hand in your cabin. You can always get a bowl & spoon, and ask for milk, in the Lido. I always keep a little stash on hand for "emergencies". ;)

Also, I am so sorry I will not get to meet you for the transatlantic but I do have optimism in regards for a future of many more cruises for you! :p

Thank you.

Compared to other lines with large ships (ie NCL,RCCL etc) is the Lido busier than other ships? Or are the lines just worse than on other smaller HAL ships?

When I have been on other large ships, there are lineups everywhere.

When we sailed on Konigsdam last month we enjoyed a few Lido breakfasts. The only time we had trouble finding a table was the day we arrived a few minutes before the ship was cleared for people to go ashore for the day. There were many people just sitting, not eating. Other days there was no problem. We also enjoyed full room service breakfasts. We ate indoors most days. We brought the small table from the balcony indoors and used it to hold the silver hotplates and covers. When we ate outdoors we brought the small coffee table from the stateroom out to the balcony. Food was fresh, hot and delicious every time.

We had a Neptune suite when we were on the Koningsdam in April. We had

several early shore excursions, so ordered breakfast to be delivered to our

cabin on many mornings. There is a great variety of food you can order, and

it always came on time and hot. We brought in one of the little tables on our

balcony and put it next to the small table in our cabin to make some extra space while we were eating. It worked out great.
