SAPMAN Posted July 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2016 The deck plan shows 13106 (Haven Forward Facing Penthouse) as Handicapped, but my Agent says it isn't. I will have 3rd person and want to be sure there is a wall between bedroom and living area (with sofa). Does anyone know? I do know the other side 13706 is non handicapped room, but it is not available. Thanks.
Two Wheels Only Posted July 31, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2016 (edited) On Escape, H7 13106 is HC but it is one large room, not 2 separate rooms. There is a review of the room HERE Edited July 31, 2016 by Two Wheels Only
SAPMAN Posted July 31, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted July 31, 2016 Thanks, Two Wheels Only. I will contact my Agent and have him double check, but if not sure book a different stateroom. I don't know why the Cruise Lines cannot have more specifics and pictures of their various rooms. Even if they have 50 different configurations, it would be easy to create a data base by Room # with a few pictures and diagram and a short written description. Then one could go to that link on their web site, type in the cabin #, and get a much better idea of the pros and cons. Anyone else have info on 13106 on Escape handicapped room - is it one big room or have a separate living area?
pcakes122 Posted July 31, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2016 It is definitely one big room - no separate living area. The photo posted above shows the "living area" over to the right (very small loveseat and coffee table/ottoman combo.
Two Wheels Only Posted July 31, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 31, 2016 The picture shows the sofa/sofabed for the 3rd guest. The person with the socks is in the "living room". It is one large room with a large bathroom. On the positive side, the balcony is like the other H7 balconies. The enclosed balconies on Escape are on deck 14. SAPMAN Posted July 31, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted July 31, 2016 Thanks for the comments. I changed to deck 9. If going to need elevator anyway to get to Haven, might as well be closer to the public areas on 7 and 8.
