Iluv2cruz918 Posted August 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2016 What are the names of the places in Bermuda that rent Boston Whalers? I've done it previously but I'm not remembering who it was with and I really want to do it again.
flowers44 Posted August 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2016 Somerset Watersports and H2O Water sports are the two that are near the Dockyard in the village of Somerset. We used Somerset Watersports and had a great time.

flyboyswife Posted August 14, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 14, 2016 We're renting from h2o next weekend based on mitsugirlys recommendation - they've been so responsive to all of my questions. Excellent customer service!
tymike Posted August 15, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 15, 2016 Just back from Bermuda this morning. We rented a Boston Whaler from Somerset Watersports. Despite high winds, we had a great 4 hours. Staff was helpful and relaxed. Good map, cell phone and bread for fish provided. Have a great time!

I'm so glad to be reading this - we are renting from them next Tuesday - how did you get back and forth to the dockyard? Taxi or bus? flowers44 Posted August 15, 2016 #8 Share Posted August 15, 2016 We rented from Somerset three years ago and had a wonderful time. We took the bus to Somerset. If you do that, make sure you ask the driver to let you off the bus on the far side of the small lift bridge. Our driver left us off before the lift bridge and we had to walk in the road because there were no sidewalks or shoulders on the road. If you get off the bus on the far side of the bridge, there is a sidewalk to come back over the bridge and get to Somerset Water Sports. There is a small store right next to Somerset that you can purchase snacks and drinks from before your rental. Enjoy your rental. We had a blast. Brighton Line Posted August 16, 2016 #9 Share Posted August 16, 2016 We rented from Somerset three years ago and had a wonderful time. . Four years for us, had a fantastic time. Took the bus both ways, no issue for us walking in the street but walked facing on coming traffic. Had a group for water ski's ahead of us so minor wait but they went over all the controls, the spare can of gas. Made me start and stop the motor, lift it up if we wanted to beach the boat etc. Went around the island, feed the fishes and had a great time. One of the best "on our own" shore-x we have done. blue_water Posted August 16, 2016 #10 Share Posted August 16, 2016 We rented from H2O about 4 years ago, excellent outfit and a great day motoring between the sea and sound and small islands. Recommended it to others like mitsugirly and they also loved it. We took the jet ski tour with Somerset, also a good outfit. We preferred H2O for their location even though it was further from where we were staying across from Warwick Long Bay. But either one is good. blue_water Posted August 31, 2016 #12 Share Posted August 31, 2016 can someone please provide an email for Somerset. Thanks! Would recommend calling them with any questions (1.441.234.0914), or if ready to reserve go to their site http://www.bdawatersports.com/ Not sure if Tony's email address is still active but would call either way for a timely response. tonyroach@hotmail.com
