TheTruth79 Posted August 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2016 I will be on the Epic in December. I heard somewhere that you can buy a day pass for the spa or thermal suite on a sea day for a lower cost. Can anyone clarify this? Is the spa different from the thermal suite? Can anyone tell me what this includes? Anyone know how much it costs? THANKS!
Rhea98 Posted August 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2016 (edited) I've never heard of individual sea day passes. They often sell day passes for port days. They used to be about $40. USD, if memory serves. It includes access to the area with pool, sauna, steam rooms, heated and non-heated lounge chairs including some on the balcony, and the relaxation room. You can definitely find pics and videos online. Spa and thermal suite are the same. The spa also sells treatments. Rare BirdTravels Posted August 6, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2016 People tend to use the terms thermal suite and spa interchangeably. For this discussion, they are the same If the ship sells out of week passes, no day passes are sold Normally, they would not sell day passes on sea days because the spa is in high demand (for the exact reason you are asking). Sauer-kraut Posted August 6, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2016 Day passes will be available only if the spa isn't sold out with weekly passes. On port days treatments (massage, facial, teeth whitening, botox, etc.) are usually offered for a slightly reduced price.
TheTruth79 Posted August 6, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted August 6, 2016 Yes, thank you, port days is what I meant! I am thinking about getting a day pass, as you said, only if the weekly passes aren't sold out. I'm also wondering if anyone knows the price for a day pass.
