We will be on in September and just wondering if anyone that has been on Explorer recently can fill us in on the diamond lounge and concierge lounges. Just wondering if D+ have access to CL and if they are doing overflow on busy cruises for the DL. If you know whos looking after each lounge.

The Diamond Lounge is on deck 14 in the Viking Crown Lounge. With the 3-drink coupons added nightly for the cocktail hour on your SeaPass card the need for any overflow is minimized as these coupons are good at most bars around the ship. Drinks in the DL remain unlimited with no coupon necessary. Not sure where any overflow would be directed anyway since the space previously used is now Izumi's.

 

The Concierge Lounge is on deck 9 and D+ will still have access to it. However, it is not nearly as nice as the Diamond Lounge, so if the DL is crowded I'd prefer to remain in Dizzy's in the VCL.

 

Don't know who the Concierges are now in either lounge - sorry.
