cb at sea Posted September 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2016 Cash for the casino...yes! (Can be any denomination!) You will be charged tips daily to your account...no need to tip in cash anymore! What they charge you is ample! The charged tips cover your cabin attendant, waiters, ass't waiters and head waiter. Drinks will have the tip added to the cost.
Clarea Posted September 1, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 1, 2016 Hi we are going on the Indy for the first time. Do we need to take dollars for the casino and giving extra tips to our room attendant Cheers If you wish to tip over and above the standard amount, you can go to Guest Services and fill out a form to add more tips. This way the additional tips get added to your onboard account.
Tin can Posted September 1, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2016 You can also change money at the casino into dollars. Not sure the rate is too competitive though. Make that back on the winnings [emoji15][emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Enforcer Posted September 1, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 1, 2016 Hi we are going on the Indy for the first time. Do we need to take dollars for the casino and giving extra tips to our room attendant Cheers Hi, We are on the Indy next month, can't wait. You will love the ship it is fab. As others have said about the Casino cash but you do have to pay a surcharge (I think) the best method we have found is that we set ourselves a budget for the casino and take Dollars with us that cover that amount, we never really have much left if any but if we do we keep them for our next cruise. It is up to you if you wish to tip any extra but coin of the realm works well, it all spends. Pete
travelbuddies Posted September 2, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 2, 2016 We tip over the 18% in cash to room service, anyone who brings us a drink at bars & pool, spa & specialty restaurants. Also tip the attendant who set up chairs on Labadee. Stateroom attendant & anyone who goes out of their way to provide service over & above what one might expect. Crew & staff seem to appreciate it very much. We bring $100 ones and $100th fives. Is appreciate the other suggestions & will get some from guest services on our next cruise & leave a little extra for an exceptional waiter & asst waiter at guest services on our sea pass to see how it works out for us.
