fairytalelover Posted September 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2016 We've always been Disney cruisers. This will be our first non Disney Cruise so I would appreciate guidance. We want to take an April 2017 cruise we saw for 15 days to hawaii. Is there a way to get the listed price lowered or discounted? Are there promo codes or travel agents or sites that that can book this cruise at a lower price for us?
spookwife Posted September 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2016 the terms of these boards do not permit the discussion of travel agents. you are going have to do your own legwork/research.
paul929207 Posted September 8, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 8, 2016 Unlike most other cruise lines, Princess allows a TA to discount prices. However, they cannot advertise the lower price. You must call, email or respond to their website to get the discount. Not all TAs will discount prices, so you have to keep trying to find a TA who will discount the price. As mentioned above, CC rules prohibit naming a TA
navybankerteacher Posted September 8, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 8, 2016 Shop around - select several T/A's and see what they can do for you - while checking with the line directly. You need to get a feel for fare ranges for the accommodations and itineraries you want. When you find something you like at a price that seems right - book it - and monitor prices to take advantage of fare reductions coming in before final payment date.
