Here's the response to a question I presented to John Heald concerning dip, snuff or chew:

we do allow it but ask of course that guests be responsible and never "spit" into a cup or glass but get a disposable coffee cup from the promenade coffee shop. Its very rare that I have seen people do this on the ships.

OP...I think Bigman01 and Cruisin Dave have answered your question.

Given the comments you've seen on this board in a short time, I'd highly suggest you don't spit into anything while in a public space, like the Lido deck.

Any tobacco product can only be used in the smoking areas. This would include chewing tobacco, vaping, cigarettes, hookahs, snuff and anything else tobacco related, I would imagine.

E-cigarettes and vape pens, for the most part, don't use tobacco but is lumped in with smoking/tobacco use - just so's those that do use them don't use the excuse that its not a tobacco product.

I saw a guy on the ship in the casino chew and spit into a bottle. It was rather disgusting and he was asked not to spit at the table by the floor supervisor.
