Goodbye - Gold Coast cruise terminal

I know that if I get sent the long way, I get sweaty, nervous and agitated.

It's all just security theatre.

A bit of background on Luggage Point:

While a Gold Coast terminal would be nice, the geography and the geology of the GC is against it.

I definitely agree with this comment. The cruise lines would love a GC terminal as it would save a huge amount of distance sailing into and out of Brisbane....but I wonder how many times we would read that they could not get in as the surf was running too high????

Its not called Surfers Paradise for nothing.

Ditto, no natural harbours and the beaches are too open to the elements/tides.
