Denali Shuttle vs TWT - help!

This was not the impression I got from the shuttle we were on -apologies. Folks who wanted to get off gave the driver a specific location. In one case a bear was known to be in that area and she suggested another place.

 

All you have to do, is yell- Stop, and if outside of the risk areas mentioned above- the bus does, and out you go. This has been the case for years. There never have been any "fixed" stops on shuttle buses, where you get on and off. "impressions" aren't always accurate.

Holland America says we are on am TWT. Do we have any sense of exact timing on this? I may book something else in the afternoon but am unclear on timing.

I checked TA today, and I think I found your thread! I agree. I'd like to take the cost savings and apply it elsewhere on our 2 week trip. It all adds up quickly!

But yes on the adding up quickly. I went into planning thinking there were certain things we wouldn't do but the more I read, the more it all seems so good...and wouldn't you know, I now have some of the things we weren't going to do booked. :rolleyes: I have to wonder how much this will change before July rolls around.

We are experiencing the same thing: set a budget and then continuing to grow it... We'll see where we end up. Trying to be good stewards of our vacation dollars, and at the same time, not miss out on the experiences that we hope will be worth the splurge.
