Have not stayed in that room but as mentioned you are right next to the aft stairwell so you will experience more foot traffic outside your door. This doesn't necessarily mean it will be louder, but the risk is higher than a cabin down the hall where only passengers going to/from their cabins walk.

Weather permitting, sleep with your balcony door open and enjoy the sound of the surf!

Nothing IMHO except location on the ship. Up two flights and you are right in the middle of the solarium - big plus! After shows, you are a short elevator ride away from your cabin.

Walking to/from dining is really the only "disadvantage" of a forward location.

Are you in 8142 or 8042? There is quite a difference. If you are 8142 as originally stated you are in the AFT by the stairs. It will be nice as it's a quick 2 flights up to the Oceanview Cafe and Sunset bar or down a few to the dining rooms. If it's 8042 then you are forward by the stairs and as others have stated a quick few flights up to the gym and solarium or a few flights down to the theater.

Check out the Celebrity M-Class spreadsheet sticky post.

Several cabins beside/surrounding the cabin you are seeking information about - will give you ideas / information regarding that location / area of the ship.
