Not sure of the road name, but it's at the western end of the main road through the town, parallel to the road along the front, and in easy walking distance of everything. It takes about 5 minutes.

As has been said it's pretty much in the city centre. The cable car is the other end of the sea front but it is an easy walk.

Last time we visited we were dropped off on Avenue Arriega outside the Marina Shopping Centre, which is close to the Teatro Municipal Baltazar Dias in the centre of Funchal.
