FLL Hotel / Shuttle Question

Arriving in FLL on 11/30 for a cruise out of POM on 12/1. Any help on inexpensive hotels that offer a shuttle to the ship? I tried the Comfort Inn and when I asked him about a shuttle to Miami he said from FLL Pennsylvania??? I am grateful for any suggestions, our flight arrives at 10pm so the sleep time will be minimal as long as it is clean, safe & comfortable I am ok with that.

Just a quick look down the board would find dozens of threads on hotels. However, as t is 45 minutes to Miami, none offer a free shuttle. Several will sell you a package, or book a shuttle from you, but none are free.

 

Booking a shuttle yourself - commonly recommended here, usually cots $15 per person.

Not all private shuttle companies stop at all the hotels...You might want to consider going back to FLL and use GoAirportShuttle. Hyatt Place is a very popular pre-cruise hotel price on http://www.valuetrips.com they offer a shuttle back to FLL or you can taxi..or check with http://www.ridesas.com they may pick up at Hyatt Place.

Flying late into FLL and cruising out of POM the next morning. We also don't need a fancy hotel, just a clean place to sleep.

It has a shuttle from the airport and good free breakfast and was fine for our needs. We will be staying there again this time, and booked Jiffy Jeff to shuttle us to POM in the morning and back to FLL after the cruise.

Many great private shuttle options...Jiffy Jeff is a good choice.

Your best bet is to book a hotel that meets your needs, and then book your own transport - any FLL area hotel offering a "free" shuttle all the way to POM is just building the cost of the transport into the package rate.

 

For FLL area hotels start your search at http://www.sunny.org

 

For shared shuttles to POM the common suggestions include SAS, QLS, MJS, Go Airport and several others. Fares start at about $15 per person. Or for about $40 you can just Uber from your FLL area hotel to POM.
