Recent NCL Jade cruisers..questions:

Hi guys & gals- a few questions about the NCL Jade & recent dry dock questions:

 

1) Did they replace the old, tiny TV's with a flat screen?

 

2) Can you check your on board account on the TV?

 

3) What are the shows like now? Any rock n' roll ?

 

4) Is there a Caribbean band playing at the pool?

Has the Jade had its dry dock yet? I thought it was due early next year.

The Jade dry dock is scheduled for early next year. Staterooms have flat screen televisions. I'm not sure if you can check onboard account on the television because I never turned it on but you can download the NCL app on your phone and check account. It's accurate and updated quickly when you make a purchase. The Jade has been in Europe so I imagine music and some entertainment will change but there was no Caribbean band in the Mediterranean.

Hi, I’ve been on Jade in August and I can tell you that we have flat tv but no on-board account available in tv screen.

I don't know what you want to mean with rock n' roll shows but No there aren't any shows like Rock of Ages!

When the Pearl goes into dry dock in Feb. the Jade takes over the Theme cruises. The departure shifts from Miami to Tampa (we love Tampa) but the cruises are basically the same as would be on the Pearl. When the Pearl returns from DD in March, the Jade enters DD and completes in April ending around April 4th, does a small Kid's Rock Theme cruise, then April 9th, contines it's regular Caribbean cruises. At least, I hope I have it correct now. I just know that our cruise, Apr. 23rd, should not be affected by the sub for Pearl, nor the Jade DD itself.
