gatur123fl Posted November 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2016 I rarely drink alcohol. I may drink 1 alcoholic drink a day on the cruise. I was trying to decide if I should buy the soda package. Are the tea and lemonade free on the buffet? I was thinking I may just go to a buffet and get a tea or lemonade if I'm thristy, I just don't know if that's going to be a pain though. Tea and lemonade are included with your basic cruise fare at all restaurants, including the buffet. Additionally, you can get tap water for free at any bar. Some ships also have drink stations where selected beverages will be available for free. Edited November 2, 2016 by clarea
oneputt18 Posted November 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 2, 2016 Ice tea and lemonade are no charge in the Windjammer and MDR, also (depending on the ship) available on the Royal Promenade, Wipeout Cafe, Solarium Bistro, Park Cafe. Flavored water is also usually available.
TickledBlue Posted November 2, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2016 Also, there is usually zero-calorie strawberry-kiwi mango-orange? favored waters. The second one I can't quite remember because I stick with the strawberry-kiwi. Depending on the ship you are on, it can be a little bit inconvenient but far cheaper than any drink package. gerif Posted November 2, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 2, 2016 I always bring a few empty sports bottles and fill with iced tea or lemonade in the buffet. Easy to take on excursions, to the pool or keep in the "cooler" in the cabin to drink later. Almost never drink soda, so that's not even a consideration for me. Sounds better than lugging a case of water onto cruise.

Please remember not to fill the sport bottles from the dispenser. Fill a glass first then pour into spt bottles.
