Caandi Posted November 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2016 Does anyone have any experience with Hop On Hop Bus or Explorer Bus in Sydney and used a mobility scooter? Thanks
katisdale Posted November 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2016 We used the hop on hop off bus in Sydney Australia this past June. It worked well for me. There was a ramp that the bus put out. I rode the scooter onto the bus and I had the choice to either stay on the scooter in a specific area or to put the scooter there and transfer to a seat. Caandi Posted November 5, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted November 5, 2016 Thanks for the information. Were they helpful and pleasant and did they allow time for you to get safely on board?
katisdale Posted November 5, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2016 Yes, they were pleasant and helpful. The ramp must be taken in before the bus can move so that gives you a little time to locate yourself.

GUT2407 Posted November 16, 2016 #7 Share Posted November 16, 2016 Does anyone know if the HOHO bus in San Juan can accommodate a mobility scooter? You might do better to start a thread with that title here in disabled cruising or the San Juan area.
