Tampa Hotels Close to Port

Leaving from Tampa next March and looking for an overnight hotel close to port, any suggestions?

Leaving from Tampa next March and looking for an overnight hotel close to port, any suggestions?

 

Marriott Waterside and Embassy Suites (Convention Center).....both are about a mile to the port.

 

Have stayed at both and they were both great!

Not as close to the port, but offering both airport and port shuttles are several hotels in the Rocky Point area (Chase Suites, Hampton Inn, etc.). Rocky Point is a nice area with views of the bay and several nearby dining options.

Stayed at the Courtyard Marriott downtown. Nice property, not as close to the port as the Embassy Suites, but less expensive and has a shuttle to the port.

Hampton Inn Ybor City. About a mile or so away and hotel has a free shuttle to the port.
