nivek82 Posted November 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Is it really smart? Another one of the planning things that come along with the big new ships appears that you need to check in the second you make final payment. I was waiting as I normally do and now see that they arrival time is 1:30PM! I HAVE NEVER been to a port this late. Has anyone shown up (say 3 hours before their time) and been told NO? My hope it's like the board by deck trick they try and they actually don't care. I guess I'll find out soon but another thing that adds stress.
Rare vacationlover_mn Posted November 8, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2016 I've showed up early for my last 3 cruises (between 10:30 and 11), and they've never prevented us from checking in and boarding as soon as the process starts (and I'm a lowly platinum). Biker19 Posted November 8, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2016 I guess I'll find out soon but another thing that adds stress.  They ask you to check in at a certain time (which BTW you can ignore) and that causes stress?
Magnetchief Posted November 8, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2016 We turn up at the port when it is convenient for us. Last Allure cruise it stated 2:30 if I recall. We were in the city so turned up at 11:30, no problems at all.
