Interested in your experience. Cost of one way to Bush/IAH?

Do you meet in a lounge onboard and are escorted off the ship?

Do the buses leave when full or are they on a set schedule?

Our flight is late afternoon so we would like a later shuttle.

How long does customs take for a non US citizen?

We used to use cruise line transfers but stopped mainly because the bus needs to wait on everyone disembarking for the airport for the particular airline. We will be cruising our of Galveston next July and this will be out first but will be renting a car. After pricing shuttles which on average was running $160 each way shared. I recommend you going to the Gulf Ports of Call section and reading other posts. They are numerous. I can't answer on the customs in Galveston. Check the available excursions for your sailing.

In the past they've had one that included two or three hours at NASA on the way to the airport, it was about $50pp if I remember right.

I don't know where you get $160 Desert Cruiser. Our fare for 2 was $80 total roundtrip for 2 from Hobby. It is $100 roundtrip from Bush.

 

If your flight isn't until late afternoon, you can just take your time getting off, and get a later shuttle. We had lunch at the airport, and then just read until our 3:20 flight.

RC charges $47 per person one-way from Galveston to IAH.

My prices came from shuttling from Bush ( IAH ) if we actually shared it would have lowered the price, but since we wanted to visit NASA two days before we decided to rent a car for more flexibility.
