Dear CCers: I know the balconies on this ship way up on the tippy top deck are "viewing"--ergo SMALL--but wanted to know if the dividers open up to the next verandah so that my family and I can have a long "viewing" balcony. Anyone know?

We are booking two cabins next to each other so we can roll into the Crow's Nest anytime we want. ;-) it would be nice if I can access my family in the next room via the eeny weeny balcony rather than going out into the hallway in my jammies.

To the best of my knowledge and experience on the NA, all of the balcony dividers can be opened. Just ask your Room Steward.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just off the Nieuw Amsterdam cabin 10026, had a table and 2 chairs with seat cushions, 4 1/2 feet wide which was ample room for us. Best thing about this cabin is that it is under a deck 11 VQ which provided an overhang eliminating the possibility of people looking down on you, also on port side good for watching the sun rise...
