What is the difference between:

1. Balcony cabins that connect in a category such as D8

2. Connecting balcony cabins designated BC, but in a category such as D8 on deck the plans

 

Please share any connecting balcony cabin pictures. I couldn't find any...

I think that you are referring to the "family cabin" configuration, where a JS, a balcony cabin and an interior can be booked together and are all connected, with access through one hallway door plus their own doors.

You must be looking at the catelogue.. The website no longer shows the yellow boxes around the BC cabins. Those were initially identified as pairs of connecting cabins that had to be booked as a pair. Similar to the family connected JS that MM posted above but with a pair of balcony cabins instead.
