Pier parking ft lauderdale

Has anyone parked at the pier in Ft Lauderdale? I know the charge is $15/day but do they charge you for 4 or 5 days when you are on a 4 day cruise. Is there a tax added to the $15?

We do the park n Go and its a little cheaper l, they charge per day based on when you arrive and leave

Tax is included in the $15.00 and it goes by the number of days you are parked there.

I recently parked in the garage for a 7 day cruise. Left the car around 11 am on one Sunday and returned around 10 am the following Sunday. Paid $105. Easy.

We always Park at the pier. You can save a few bucks with Park n Go but you have to take a bus each way. The parking garage at the pier is right across the street and extremely convenient. Waiting for a bus with luggage, not so convenient.

We have sailed out of Fort Lauderdale quite a few times and have always used Park'N'Go to park the car. We have NEVER waited for a shuttle to show up when we got out the door of the terminal. There has always been one waiting and another waiting to pull in when that shuttle was filled.

 

Of course, one would get wet walking out to the shuttle if it were raining, but I suspect that one would also get wet walking over to the port parking area.

I agree !!!

 

Especially for Equinox where there is a surface lot right in front of the ship.

You can see your car from the Sky lounge.

 

Tried Park N Go once last year when the Equinox left from one terminal and came back into another. We would have had to take a shuttle on one end or the other.

 

Called Park N Go to verify we could self park and lock the car. The guy assured us we could. We get there and they refuse to let us self park !!! We quoted what the guy on the phone said on the phone. They did not care. We get back and find the car unlocked with the keys in it. Also the front bumper was scraped and the lower grill damaged. NEVER AGAIN !!!
