Victoria BC Excursions

We are taking a Hawaii cruise in April, and one of our ports is Victoria, BC. We have two excursions in mind and I was wondering if anyone who has been on these excursions could shed some light on what the differences are in the two.

The excursions are - Scenic Victoria City Tour and O Canada! Victoria Highlights .

I'm wondering if they both go to the same scenic places or different ones, and which excursion would be the best to see Victoria. :confused:

Need more information? Are these a Celebrity excursions? I can't find any descriptions online.

We did Victoria and took the taxi to Buchart Gardens it was the best! We did Hawaii on the NCL pride of America and flew in a couple day early and rented a car every port! Best way to see Hawaii!

It depends on the ship and cruise line.

Submit under the forum for your cruise line.

Sorry, the cruise is with Celebrity Solstice. I did put the question on the Hawaii forum and someone said it should be on the Canada forum, because it was a Canadian excursion. I'm kind of new at this forum stuff. LOL!!

^It does get a bit woolly - but since the crux of your question is 'has anyone done these specific Celebrity excursions' odds are that you'll find people who have on the Celebrity boards. If it was an independent excursion in Victoria, then this board would seem most logical.

 

Another handy hint for a very specific Q like this is to check previous roll calls for the same cruise if it's run in multiple years. Even if nobody is actively posting any more, there may be mention of relevant excursions and adding a post will also notify the prior posters that a new entry has appeared in a thread they were active in so you may get replies.

 

From skimming the descriptions on Celebrity website, it sounds like the O Canada tour may actually BE the Scenic Victoria tour with a Canadian quiz and an added stop in Timmies. Since they both only mention a few specific stops it might be a different route with some overlap - but the biggest difference is the US$14 extra for a coffee and timbits which seems a kinda crappy deal to me, especially since you're a Canadian...
