We are looking at the Wind Star Panama Canal next year. What were your favorite things about the vessel itself?

Never thought of Ginger gum. I may have to try that!

If you need ginger you might be able to get fresh ginger if you ask a waiter. They use it for cooking. I did this on a couple of cruises but since I am only going for the first time on Windstar cruises I am not sure if they have it.

I would pass on asking for ginger from the kitchen.

We got two items from Amazon. The first was candied ginger. very strong taste, so we left it at home. The second was Tummydrops Ginger. This was much milder and we used it on our cruise 2 weeks ago. Wife did not get seasick, even with a great deal of side to side motion on the sea days. There was no front to back motion, which is what usually does her in.
