You will likely get a reply from Corporate that they will say they are sending your request to the ship but from my experience it goes into a big black hole and nothing gets done prior to sailing.

The timing of the request may have something to do with that - don't send it more than 2 weeks out.

 

Biker, who has had a reply every time a table request has been made via this e-mail.

I must say...I requested a table for two by the windows on Liberty this week...and oh my gosh, it is WONDERFUL!

rcldining@rccl.com I just sent them a request a couple of days ago & got an email back today from Kathleen Truscello (ktruscello@rccl.com) My son's & my room were supposed to have linked reservations for the early dining. Somehow my son's ended up with My Time Dining. When I called Crown & Anchor, they said I'd have to wait until I got on the ship to have it corrected. She fixed it in a flash!

I can email the dining folks and request an ocean view table in the MDR and they'll accommodate that? If so, when should I email?

They will try and accommodate your request. Don't take it as gospel you will get it but generally they are good. I will email your request to them 2-3 weeks out.
