With less than 2 months to go when would you expect to be given the following: 1) Embarkation time 2) Itineraries indicating formal nights We have a web account, where this information is still yet to materialise. The second question regarding formal nights you will only find out for certain on board. Generally they are sea days. Unfortunately embarkation times are varied, suite passengers have early times so dont expect it to be before 2, last times are usually 3.30 p.m. As has been said formal nights are usually on sea days and not usually on the first and last nights. We always stay in a hotel the night before and go down to the dock about 11.30 regardless of the embarkation time. Hanging around in the embarkation lounge is no worse than in a coffee shop in town and although we are prepared to wait until the time on the ticket we have never had to. sapphire4 Posted February 1, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 1, 2017 For three of our recent cruises from Southampton we were given a boarding time of 3pm.We usually get there an hour before and wait which has usually been about 30 -45 mins. We don't mind as we travel down the day before and stay in Winchester spending the morning there and its stunning. For our last trip in a suite we arrived at lunch to see hoards of people already boarding. Make sure you enter your details on the cruise personaliser and I think the e-tickets are ready 6 weeks prior to travelling?
