Rare Terre Posted February 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2017 For those who have sailed the Ecstasy since it came out of dry dock, has it gone to the American Table menu?

CharlesKru Posted February 15, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2017 First cruise on Ecstasy in August; what's the American Table Menu? Good? Bad? Sent from my iPhone using Forums There are a lot of things that are the same.. biggest update for American Tables is that they now have a 'Port of Call' menu that has an app and dish from the local place you are at. There is 1 less soup option each night, and the desserts are a lot different... Personally, I like it because I was getting to used to the existing food... My wife really misses the Bitter and Blanc, and so she is not to fond of the new menu since you only get that on 7 day and longer cruises with American Tables. Rare Terre Posted February 15, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Bitter and Blanc is my favorite, too, and I missed it on our last Liberty cruise a few years ago, which was a 7 day. Do they still have table clothes? I just don't think I'd like eating without them.

My understanding is none of the ships with American Table have table cloths anymore, except for elegant night.
Rare Terre Posted February 15, 2017 Author #9 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Thanks, M-Z, that's what I've been reading. I guess it saves a lot of money in laundry!:D
obx_fintoo Posted February 15, 2017 #10 Share Posted February 15, 2017 We sailed Ecstasy in April and I never got around to doing my review due to some family issues. I'll see if I can find my pictures of the American Table menus and post them tonight.
obx_fintoo Posted February 16, 2017 #11 Share Posted February 16, 2017 I found my pictures, but none with the table cloths off. We had a table for two and did not miss the table cloths at all. The tables are nice wood and it still felt like a nice dining area. Hope you enjoy your cruise!
