Does NCL Casino Chip *Win A Bottle Of Bubbly* are accepted on every ships ?

3 casino chips are on sale right now on Ebay for under 25$US. (search for NCL bubble)

Good deal considering these bottles are for sale at $44 plus 18% gratuity onboard.

I know these chips are good on the Pearl and the Dawn because i won 2 and used them at their casino last year. :D

Do you know if they are accepted on other ships ?

I might buy one if it is.;)

The bubbly wine they give you are the ones they give as the Latitude welcome gift. Only drinkable with apple juice in it or when you have had a skinful.

 

At the price they are asking buy a decent bottle of wine at the wine store in your town and pay the $15 corkage, you will be far happier.

 

No one in their right mind would pay $44 (+18%) for a bottle of this.

 

Compare the price; I use Lindemans Bin 90 Muscato!! Buy it for $6-8 ashore or pay about $38 on board!!!

Well i prefer a lot the bubbly than the lindemans moscato wich is only 8% alc/ vol .;)

But this is not the subject of this thread, I would like to know if it is used on other ships than the Dawn and Pearl.

Anyone used them ?

I have seen them in the 25c machines on the Sun and Star and used one on the Sun. They certainly wouldn't be usable on the Pride as it doesn't have a casino.

I have one from the Epic, but I don't know if it looks like the ones you're thinking of buying. It's purple and white.

That bubbly is worth less than $5 a bottle, but of course they sell it for more than that on board, and it would cost you $45 in corkage fees to carry on 3 bottles of your own, so $25 is an OK price I guess. It would be more fun to buy $25 in tokens and try to win them from the coin pushing game, though. (Wait for rough seas :) )
