Getting Switched to Disembark in an Early Group

We have a late flight and we indicated such when we filled out the online check in. We have something to attend to before flying home from FLL and prefer to get off in one of the first groups. Is it fairly easy to just request this preference on board through guest services? Do they honor such a request?

We know we can keep our luggage and simply get off ourselves. We are on Deck 8 on the Allure and will each have one regular sized bag. If it is fairly easy to maneuver we could do it but we have read getting an elevator and dragging your own luggage might be problematic.

Thanks

Yes, just visit Guest Services around midway though the cruise and request the earliest luggage tags.

We love self-disembark and while elevators can be a problem we just get an early start to get situated on the right deck. When we have used the luggage tags in the past, the GS desk was always accommodating in changing us to another more convenient time. But, the earliest way to get off the ship is to take your own luggage off.

Thanks......we will ask GS midway and if they cannot accommodate us we'll just take the bags off ourselves. Seems simple but the simple things always present the largest problems.

I was able to do this twice with no problems, once on Allure which I believe if your next ship. Enjoy!

We were on Allure 1/29 (not the week before) and witnessed Self Disembarkation taking place at 730. It might have started earlier.

Is it possible to use the elevators at 7:30 to self disembark with our luggage or are they just too crowded? That would be the easiest but taking them down stairs or escalators would be a little difficult.

I can't answer that. We stay in full Suites and get a walk off to our luggage and customs.
