Travel Agent for Alaskan Cruise

Husband and I would like to take an Alaskan Cruise(first ever cruise) and would like to find a Travel Agent that specializes in cruises . I read that Clia certification is recommended but have no idea how to find one. Can someone point me in the right direction?

You can go to the websites of cruise lines that will sail to Alaska on your preferred period. You can call them to ask for information on the cruise itself, or their recommended travel agent.

Start with Conde Nast Traveler "best of ..." lists.

If Oceania is a possible line for you, look for TAs who are members of the Oceania Connoisseurs' Club.

Ask friends , relatives , coworkers , neighbors , anyone that you know that cruises , whom they use to book their cruises , and why .

Many of those big online agencies that specialize in cruises , use home based TA Cruise Specialists , that may even be in your area if you wish that.
