Best Deck Level?

How is deck 7? Hopefully not too noisy there at night...

We like deck 7 on Allure and Oasis but need to be aware !!! by the aft elevators you can not get across from port to starboard on deck 7 you need to take the correct elevator bank that's the only problem we have had with deck 7.

The kitchen noise is 6am so would affect you

live in UK love USA and Royal Caribbean Cruises.

Our alarm clock is the one waking us in the morning otherwise we could never tell if it's 6am or 9am. No noise in the morning that can disturb our sleep.

Rooms on deck 2-3-4 etc are cheaper than those in below windjammer /pool, I wonder why [emoji3]

We always make sure to book a cabin that has cabins above and under us. We learned it the hard way. On the Oasis class we love deck 8 near the aft elevator. We would like to try boardwalk balcony cabin we think it would be fun but we think we may be to far from the elevator. Question is boardwalk cabin in the allure aft has an ocean view? How about the aqua show can we see it? And is it far from the aft elevator?

Crew accommodations down on deck 2 so bound to be noisy plus on or below water line so no views.

You mean when you come off the aft elevators, you cannot walk across? Which elevator bank goes to the starboard side?

Also, does anyone know which decks of the Allure you can walk the whole length of the ship forward to aft? Just curious as this was slightly annoying on a couple of Carnival ships...trying to walk across to get somewhere and then coming to a wall or locked door.

The starboard elevator bank goes to the starboard side. What the poster meant was that deck 7 has this anomaly where you cannot walk between the port and starboard elevator banks like you can on other decks. So if you want to go to the port side of deck 7, and somehow you used the starboard elevator, then you must go to deck 6 or 8 to cross over.

I cannot think of any decks on Allure that you cannot walk the whole length forward and aft. Decks 17 and 18 are partial decks and are restricted to suite guests.
