Ultimate Dining Pkg on Silhoutte?

We sail in a few weeks on the Silly, and does anyone know if the Ultimate Dining Pkg available on this ship? Still the same type of pkg as before or has it changed?

The package known as Ultimate dining whereby you paid $29 per day and could drive ne at any specialty has been discontinued as of January.

For our Silhouette cruise in April they now offer specialty dining packages from 3 nights (meals) up to the length of your cruise (in our case 12 nights). Check it out under dining in your cruise planner. Someone else may know if you can buy these once on board.

These differ from the old ultimate package in that they are for the number of meals that you purchase - so not all day specialty dining.

IF UDP was discontinued (?? 2018??) does that mean there is a fee for lunch at The Porch or The Lawn Grill and Sushi on 5?

 

When we sailed in 2016 the UDP allowed us lunch/dinner at any venue

Yes, with the demise of the UDP, there is a charge for those venues.

Thats unfortunate... we had lunch at Sushi on Five or The Porch daily and ate at the specialty restaurants every night :( bummer

Yes the same dining packages are available at the same online discounted rate. Highly unlikely you will be able to negotiate a better discount - the 12 night package is $26/pp/pn, that is just the evening dinner. You will have to slum it with everyone else in the Buffet or MDR for lunch.

We ate at these daily for lunch with the UDP...

EDITED--Nevermind..looks like now the Lawn Club Grill isn't open at lunch (maybe only sea days?) nor Sushi on Five which was the only time we ate there..and The Porch wants $25 fee -- crazy to pay that for lunch!

Sooo disappointing
