Suite Lounge Concierge Gratuity

Staying in an Owners Suite on Allure. What do you typically give the suite lounge concierge as a gratuity? Not going to be asking for much from him/her. Just normal stuff, some specialty restaurant reservations, luggage valet etc. Thoughts??

Sometimes we do not give anything extra, depends on what he does for us, last cruise he did several things and could not have been better and we gave him 100

Our last cruise on Oasis we were not impressed by the SL concierge. He never looked up and greeted us or visited with the guests. When I asked if he did an escorted walk off for those who like to carry their own luggage, he told me he was too busy! I know Oasis has more suites, but there are also 2 concierge. The concierge on Freedom did a walk off and it was a great thing for those of us with a long drive.

 

Needless to say, we did not tip the concierge. We tipped the wait staff.

Any where from 25 to 50 and more if assisting with several things.

For a 7-night sailing $50 is the norm for me, sometimes more or less if service is exceptional or poor.

We also tip staff a dollar or 2 when they bring our drinks

Usually the Concierge does nothing for us ..... we're low key and keep to ourselves and need nothing ask for nothing. However the waitstaff...yes we absolutely tip them on the last night for a 7 nighter and that can be any where from $20.00-30.00.
