coinkc Posted April 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2017 Can you cancel a shore excursion and get a refund if it's well before the cruise date? I just booked our cruise and am thinking of booking some of the shore excursions with the 20% discount that is available for a few days. However, if we decide we don't want to do that particular excursion can I cancel and get a refund or is it cruise credit? Or are we just out the money if we don't go? Thanks for the help! ABQrobin Posted April 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2017 If you cancel before the cruise, you will get the full amount back. If you cancel on the cruise, at least 24 hours in advance, you get an onboard credit. If you cancel less than 24 hours, then you might get a partial refund, depending on why. Once - We had to cancel one excursion and booked a different one the night before, so less than 24 hours. They gave us full credit towards the other excursion as it was more expensive. Jgilbert813 Posted April 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2017 I would think so. I know I have cancelled excursions as late as the morning of while onboard and received credit for them on our S&S acct.

hapytobehr Posted April 28, 2017 #8 Share Posted April 28, 2017 My husband and I had an excursion booked at one port and that morning I did not feel well. I was able to cancel and get a full refund. Happy Sailing!!
cherbear4000 Posted April 28, 2017 #9 Share Posted April 28, 2017 I have bought excursions online at later cancelled them. It was easy to do online and we received a refund back to the credit card used to purchase them. You just need to cancel at least 24 hours prior to sailing. NC_Cruisin Posted April 28, 2017 #10 Share Posted April 28, 2017 Does anyone know what happens if you pay for the shore excursions with a gift card?
