Been on many cruise but this will a move up from regular Balcony cabin to Owner's Suite on the Sky. We will have different things offered the best I can tell. But what does it mean when it says you will be escorted on the ship when you arrive for check in and off the ship when cruise is over??? Also while I'm here does this type suite have for no charge the Luggage program that take your luggage the last night and transfer's to airport and you don't see it until you arrive at your last leg of you flight home. Thank you and I'm sure I'll have more question as time goes on. We just book this cruise to Cuba last night and just now starting to learn more about the cruise, Cuba, hotel pre cruise and other things. Cruising April 2018. I know it's early but excited. Thank you

NCL suite guests get VIP check in at the port of Miami. When you arrive at the port, look for the Haven check in and they will work your paperwork and then board the ship in a group of other suite guests.

They have had the wording about being walked to suites for some time. In actuality, it doesn't happen that much. In some cases you actually can get on the ship before the rooms are ready so other than possibly dropping off some carry-ons, there isn't much need to go to your room in that case.

In a nut shell -

You arrive at the port

A porter takes you tagged luggage to board separately and later left in or at your cabin door

You go through a common security check point checking for WMD liquor and other items

Then to the Check-In counters to get your key card and check your documents ***

*** Guests in suite category cabins are directed to a separate check-in area

At this point you wait in the Concierge Lounge with refreshments to await (maybe your own) Butler to escort you on board

By escort you are walked bypassing other guests waiting in and around the gangway to get on board then

punching your Key Card to get on the ship

Depending on if you cabin is available you may be escorted there to leave your carry on luggage or to Cagney's

or whatever is the compatible restaurant for a private lunch - you can also go to MDR or Buffet

At this point the Butler will leave you and go escort other suite guests on board

If your cabin is available the Butler may take a moment to acquaint you with features of your suite cabin

If your cabin steward is on site introductions will take place and a time arranged to make custom alterations

to your cabin for your convenience

Settle in and get ready to FreeStyle Cruise
