flight times after Adventure of the Seas cruise

Having never sailed out of San Juan could someone tell me a safe time for a flight home after our Adventure of the Seas cruise in October please.

 

I have no idea the airport is from the port.

I'd be OK with a flight after 1pm.

On our cruise in March we were at our gate before 9:30. Our flight wasn't till 1:00 so we sat for a loooong time! Lol There was no one in line for immigration we had first class and we have tsa pre check. All that being said I would do nothing before 11:00 in San Juan.

It takes about 20 - 25 minutes to get from the cruise port to the airport. A few years ago we had a 12:00 flight . We debarked at whatever time they assigned us and did not rush. We arrived at the airport at 9:30. IF the ship gets into port on time and IF the ship clears customs right away and IF you are one of the first ones off the ship, you can make it to the airport by 8:30. If I was to do self-debarkation, I would be comfortable with any flight after 10:30.

Thanks for the replies. AA has a direct flight back to Philly at 1:10pm so looks like that is what we will probably go with.

we did self disembark and were at the airport before 8:00. I wouldnt really count on that happening, but we had plenty of time for our 11:00 flight

I agree 11 flight would be plenty of time, we just left this past Sunday out flight was at 11:55 and we had way to much time waiting in airport
