MoyCoy Posted May 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2017 I am booked in FO on a 7 night PNW cruise room 65000 Sept 29th. This is the first time I was able to book a Famliy room because we don't match the normal 5 and above requirement. I am sailing with my DH and 6 year old twins= 4 people. I was concerned about the motion of the ocean, but took a chance anyway. I am having a hard time finding ample information about this room. Any thoughts and would be appreciated. I have only sailed the freedom class twice and Oasis class once. This will be my first sailing on this class of ship;)
Grandma Dazzles Posted May 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2017 What ship? What is PNW? Pacific Northwest? Usually RC cabin numbers are four digits - 65000? Please confirm.
MoyCoy Posted May 25, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted May 25, 2017 FO-6500 Family Ocean View Stateroom Pacific North West, 7 day. Round trip From Seattle Sail Date-- Sept 29th 2017 Explorer of the Seas Thanks
leaveitallbehind Posted May 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2017 (edited) The stateroom will have the standard king from two twins bed plus a living area next to it with a double bed sofa bed. These will both be along the sidewall with the bed facing port to starboard. Same with the couch. There will be two large windows at the front of the stateroom. There will also be a separate bunk room with a lower twin bed and an upper Murphy bed. Both of these will face front to back as to ship direction. There will also be a single standard bath with a shower along with a dressing table, drawers, and closet space. The stateroom size is fairly large with ample space for your family. It can as configured hold a total of 6, so 4 will be very comfortable. We were in 9200 a number of years ago on Exporer with 5 when our kids were young and were comfortable. cb at sea Posted May 25, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 25, 2017 You won't be in the cabin except to sleep, so motion won't be THAT big of a factor.... Congrats on a big cabin!!!
