Elite Internet Package Cost

As our second free perk we are trying to figure out whether to choose paid gratuities or internet for 2 for a 12 night cruise (we already chose beverage package for our other free perk). What is the current price and discount for Elite members for unlimited internet for 2? Does Celebrity have onboard promotions for adding a second person at a discount for the internet package?

For a 12-night cruise I'd think you would be better off taking the gratuities. As far as internet costs, it varies depending on cruise length. I would call the Captain's Club to find out what the cost would be for you for your cruise with your Elite discount. You would be better off buying the internet for just one person. You can share it between the two of you -- one logs off, then the other one logs on. You can only have one device connected at a time. Unless you really need two devices on 100% of the time, call the Captain's Club for the cost, then do the math for cost of gratuities and find out which is better for you. You can use your Celebrity OBC to purchase the internet package ahead of time.

We had the same choice coming up on a 15N cruise and chose the Beverage & Grats perks. We figured that we would purchase the discounted (30% Elite) unlimited internet for “one” using our OBC. My DH would then use his 90 minutes and then when he ran out, would simply log in on my account, when I have signed out. Easy peasy!

Except you don't really have to "sign out". Any other device logging in to the account have the option to "kick you out". :D My son and I had a lot of fun kicking each other out of the internet on the same account.
