Happily@Sea Posted June 16, 2017 #51 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Likely will have to fly to Ketchikan unless there is some boat that makes the trip. Another reason to make sure you have government-issued ID on you.

alwaysfrantic Posted June 16, 2017 #54 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Passengers left behind! They called for one cabin, 8th deck. Did they not make it??? I was on the other side of ship. Couldn't see runners. Last night at dinner in Haines the staff called for several cabin numbers.
Happily@Sea Posted June 16, 2017 #55 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Not according to the radio - staff at Juneau told to be on the lookout for them - said they appeared to be US citizens ['some of yours' was the comment].
Rare Scrapnana Posted June 16, 2017 Author #56 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Couldn't see runners. I don't think they were even runners. The captain (or whoever was on the radio) had asked the agent to keep an eye out for them at least 5-10 minutes before he dropped lines. After they started pulling out he talked to the agent again and said to take care of them. Not getting back to the ship on time is one of my nightmares. I usually try to be back at least an hour before all aboard time.
