bentopher Posted June 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2017 Hi gang! Just wondering if anyone knows... We have open dining on the Magic. How does that determine which dining room we are assigned to? Is there any rhyme or reason? Thanks :)

bentopher Posted June 15, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted June 15, 2017 Aww rats! I was hoping you were going to say the Southern room (especially since our room is at the rear), all good though! thanks :)
molole Posted June 16, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2017 I heard the southern one is nicer. I am debating as well whether to change to fixed time dining because of that even thought our room is at forward.
bUU Posted June 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2017 The videos I've seen make it clear that the Southern dining room has more windows, and it is more likely that you'll have a nicer view from your table. However, the videos made clear that once it gets dark that doesn't afford much of a benefit.
13cheermom Posted June 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Yes for anytime dining you will be in the mid-ship dining room on the Magic (just did this recently). However for Seaday Brunch you will go to aft dining room which is better for window views during the daylight hours. So enjoy it then [emoji4]. It is difficult to see anything at night so the views don't really matter. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Yes, we've had window tables before and they are kind of pointless since it's dark out when we're at dinner and you can't see anything anyway. This is great to read. It might have occurred to me to do this at the moment, but now that I've seen it stated it'll be something I'll be sure to remember.
