B&N_Fort_Worth_TX Posted June 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2017 We are booked in 8602, and my mom and son are booked in 8604. 8600 actually adjoins to 8602 and is the same room type as 8604, but it is booked. I realize this is a long shot, but it does not hurt to try. Does anyone know who is booked in 8600 for this cruise? I would be willing to offer a specialty dinner night or something for the swap. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
matj2000 Posted June 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2017 You don't want to be connected to your mom & son. You know those doors between rooms don't lock once opened by the steward. Unless you are the type in which that issue isn't important........

Clarea Posted June 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2017 I have never been in a connecting room, even when opened can't be locked from either side. Then you have not seen many connecting rooms on RC ships.
B&N_Fort_Worth_TX Posted June 24, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted June 24, 2017 I appreciate everyone's responses. Myself, my wife, and one son are in 8602, and my other son and mother are in 8604. If we could get them switched into 8600, the door being open would not be an issue. However, I was not aware that was the case on cruises. I have never been in an adjoining room on a cruise so that is very good to know. Thank you.
