Don Haynes Posted November 29, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2005 Does the Norwegian Spirit still offer fish and chips for lunch at the Henry's Pub on sea days after her recent drydock? Anyone with saved Freestyle Dailies from New York should be able to answer... or from the repositioning Panama Canal cruise.....
N.Y.Cruiser Posted November 29, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2005 Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Saturday....12-2pm Unfortunately we missed all of them - we loved the Bavarian BBQ and Blue Lagoon and went twice each, thus missing the fish & chips:(
Don Haynes Posted November 29, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted November 29, 2005 Thanks for the quick reply. I was just wondering whether this tradition continues.... Some like hamburgers, I love fish and chips....
pratzert Posted November 29, 2005 #4 Share Posted November 29, 2005 We sailed the Spirit on 8/20 and knew the little secret about the fish and chips, it was DELICIOUS ! We only made it to Henry's once, but kept wanting to squeeze it in again. I also enjoyed many of the items at the Bier Garten. Tim
blueinspades Posted December 5, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 5, 2005 We went to the fish and chips only once. I found the fish too fishy tasting and not to my liking. I think it is available in other venues as well, perhaps the Blue Lagoon.

We found any fish onboard to be to our liking, be it in the specialty restaurants, buffet, or other venues. The tartar sauce was exceptional. pratzert Posted December 6, 2005 #8 Share Posted December 6, 2005 On the Spirit in August, we had Sea Bass for dinner one night.... it was absolutely great ! I can say, without a doubt, it was the BEST meal we had on our cruise. They certainly know how to prepare a salmon dish as well, always enjoyed it !
