eb0803 Posted July 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2017 Hi, We will be cruising to the Caribbean next month on the carnival dream, and I was wondering if anyone had experience with bringing strollers along on their excursions. We will have a 1 year old in tow and would love to have a place for her to nap comfortably for her and us; however, I'm not sure if there will be room on the bus/vans for our stroller. I also know not all of the things we will be doing are stroller friendly, but we'd really like to have it for before and after some of our excursions. We booked a dolphin encounter, for example, that will only last roughly two hours so I know we will want to spend more time around the port but will really need the stroller to do so. Any experience? SbbquilterUT Posted July 19, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2017 You are right that you will want a stroller for your wee one. Would suggest you consider one of the lightweight umbrella strollers which are so much easier to manage. Have fun
zqvol Posted July 19, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2017 Ditto on the umbrella stroller. You are not going to be able to get a big one very many places.
easyboy Posted July 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2017 We brought an umbrella stroller for our grandson, and a toddler carrier wrap where strollers were not practical.
Schoifmom Posted July 20, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 20, 2017 I agree with the above posters. Big strollers are not practical on a cruise (I've seen enough parents try to struggle with them). Invest in a good umbrella stroller. You'll be happy to have it on the ship as well as on excursions.
