flcraigs5 Posted August 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2017 Trying to decide between these two that are available for a cruise we are thinking about. The deck plan looks different for each of these. Has anybody stayed in them and can tell me what they liked and didn't like? Also if anybody has any pictures of the inside floorplan of them that would be great. We are traveling with a 18 month old that will be in a porta crib and hoping to be able to hang some curtains to block his view from us when sleeping. DMH15 Posted August 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2017 I always cruise in an aft suite on the 9th deck on the Sun. I prefer to have pax cabins above and below me as opposed to a common area space (loud). I would sacrifice a little in the cabin for this situation. don't-use-real-name Posted August 2, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2017 Both of these cabins in the title are BOW suites. The generic NCL diagrams leave much to be desired - remember that some cabins are mirror images of the diagrams. For pictures reference go to this link: https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Norwegian-Sun Click on the deck 9 (Norway) or 8 (Viking) and look for the suite at the top of the page - see a little camera image - click on that for images guests have photograph or video about that cabin. These cabins will definitely be of sufficient size to accommodate a family of 3. Talk with you cabin steward about making arrangements for partitioning the cabin for your 18 month old. Only draw back is the restaurants are at the other end of the ship I am on the Roll call for the sailing 9/25 out of Vancouver - if that is the sailing that you are considering come join us. If not then think about joining a Roll call for more ideas shore excursions and activities on the cruise you are looking at. Bon Voyage - have fun ! Sauer-kraut Posted August 3, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 3, 2017 Are any of the mini suites available? The SUN has really wonderful minis and there is a curtain already there to draw across to separate sleeping areas.

THANKS for that link, we chose a bow suite for a Panama Canal cruise and these videos/pictures validated that suite choice...they are SUH-WEET!
