i searched and did not find an answer to my question. What specific steps do you follow to move a booking you made yourself to a TA? Is there a specific telephone number to call?

We only did it once, many years ago. IIRC HAL gave us a reference number and a special telephone number to give to the TA, who then called HAL.

I would be a bit concerned if considering a TA who could not walk me through the process. If they don't know how to do it, you should probably be looking at a different TA.

We did it a couple of times many years ago.

Just told our TA wanted we her to do. She knew who to call at HAL. Everything done in a few minutes.

Call 1-800-522-3399 then press Option 4.

You'll need the agent's name and their local phone # (not 800).

It's easy, I just did it a month ago.

Thanks so much to everyone who responded. My son and DIL made a booking themselves on the same cruise as us. We want to transfer their booking to our TA. I KNEW all you very knowledgeable people could answer my question!
