tring Posted August 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2017 Just checked our passenger details for a forthcoming cruise and see the bed configuration is coming up as double. Can anyone tell me if the bed would be two 3 foot width beds put together, or if it would be a narrower bed? Also if a request for twin beds will reduce the open space in the cabin, or would they be placed alongside each other, like often found in hotel bedrooms? If small beds we would prefer to ask for twin configuration, but do not want to find beds separated and very little space left to move round the cabin. We are in a Fantastica Balcony cabin at the back of deck 11 on Preziosa. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Barbara
sidari Posted August 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2017 Hi Barbara ... We are also on this ship in September, if like the other 4 we have travelled on the beds have remained the same I would expect them to be the 3 foot wide versions that they make up to form a Double when required. I would expect that even as two singles there would be plenty of room in the Fantastica balcony, If you find the beds are not what you asked for just ask the cabin steward to change them over.
