ChristyR Posted June 15, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2004 I saw on your review you were on Baja in a BD cabin. We have B505 on the Baja deck on the CP. I was wondering if you had the 3rd bed in there that folds down. If so did it get in the way?
S.S.Oceanlover Posted June 16, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted June 16, 2004 ChristyR, Merlin71 submitted the review to my website. I wasn't the person who took the cruise unfortunately. I don't cruise for another 10 loooooooooooooong days. Bill Caribbean Princess Eastern Caribbean cruise page

merlin71 Posted June 16, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 16, 2004 ChristyR, Hi. We were in Baja 319 and there was not a fold-down 3rd bed in the room. Given the layout of our room, I have trouble imagining where a bed could fold-down from. Happy sailing.

mii Posted June 16, 2004 #10 Share Posted June 16, 2004 What a great site. We will be going to the Eastern Caribbean next Feb. on the Sun Princess and some of your stops like St. Thomas, especially the ferry schedule for St. John is fabulous. Thank you so much. Green4me Posted June 16, 2004 #11 Share Posted June 16, 2004 Hey ChristyR, You can tell from the brochure if you state room has the fold down bed. A black triange indicates one fold down and a red dot indicates two which would accomodate a fourth person. We had two adoining cabins on the Aloha deck on the Grand Princess last March. We only need to have one folded down. They come straight down out of the ceiling and unless you looked for it you may never realize that a bed is up there when it is closed. You need to have the key from the room steward to open the bed. We left the bed in the down position for the trip. The only thing that gets in the way is a small ladder to climb into the bed. It can be moved and stored along side of the bed next to the inside bulkhead (wall)when not in use. We have two balconies on Aloha deck with the "red dots" booked for our Christmas cruise on the Caribean Princess. Hope that helps. Christmas on the Caribbean Princess begins in... Green4me Posted June 16, 2004 #12 Share Posted June 16, 2004 PS You can also put the ladder under the bed, but we tend to fill this area up with empty suit cases Cheers Christmas on the Caribbean Princess begins in...
