Accessing on board account on Royal

I have been on the Royal and Regal but do not remember if we could. Princess has an "app" that allows you to use your smart phone to not only see your folio instantly but also has the day's events, ship locator, messaging to other pax, shore excursions etc. All you have to do is put your cellphone on airplane mode (do not use the ship's $$$ cell tower!), turn on WiFi and using your web browser attach to the ship website <ship name>.princess.com (e.g. regal.princess.com) which is free. Set up a personal account and password and reap all the features.

For the less technologically advanced you can request a printout at Reception or seek out a module that prints out following you scanning your cruise card through it. Both these systems involve an element of walking around a bit.

Regards John

The exercise is good for you.;)

There are usually 2 kiosks located near Passenger Services (one on each end).

IIRC - depending on departure date (Medallion cruises coming soon), you may be able to see your folio on the TV or at the various screens throughout the ship.
