We would like to reserve the sanctuary for all the seven days of our next cruise.

When paying fo the entire cruise, do we have access to the sanctuary on the embarkation day and on the last morning (we have a late flight so we intend to stay on the ship until 10:00 am)?

Hope my English is readable!!??

Thank you ...;)

Yes you will be able to go at those times. I have used it on embarkation afternoons, but not at disembark even though sometimes we dilly-dally and don't rush off the ship. I think it might be because we are dressed for flying and not sitting outside in what might be a hot day. Usually the only people in there at end of the cruise are those staying on for a B2B trip.

Make sure you head there early after boarding to make your reservation.

PS - Your English was fine. ;)

In our experience, you would have access to use your reserved loungers on embarkation day.

Is a fine way to avoid the chaos of boarding passengers milling about the ship.

Likely you will have reduced staff attentiveness that first afternoon, as staff is focused on hosting fellow passengers that are touring Sanctuary or scheduling loungers.

This simply means that you may need to get your own water refills, beverages (bar just outside entrance) and any food you might want.

(But, we’ve also experienced a few occasions when Sanctuary staff was providing full services on embarkation day.)

Keep in mind, there will be a fair amount of people touring through the area embarkation day, diminishing the tranquility of the space to a degree.

And of course, you’re interrupted by the mid-afternoon Muster requirement as well.

We have also used our Sanctuary loungers on disembarkation day (turn-around days for us during B2B trips) but again, service slightly reduced as they are focused on the next new batch of passengers.

Each of our Sanctuary experience over the years clearly demonstrates the ‘consistent inconsistencies’ you will encounter with Princess.

The different Sanctuary managers have their own manner and approach, so minor variations on how each operated the Sanctuary should be expected during Sanctuary bookings on various ships over time.

In order to book the Sanctuary for your entire cruise, you'll need to go directly to the Sanctuary upon boarding. As soon as possible. You select a specific lounger in a specific spot that's "your" lounger for the time you booked. You can come and go as you please and no one else can use your lounger.

The cost will be $30/day/per person for seven days. The regular cost is $20/half day/per person or /$40/day/per person when booking for just a half or full day.

Once paying for the Sanctuary (the charge is made to your onboard folio), you can use your lounger(s) immediately. I've used the Sanctuary for sailaway in the past.

The ship will probably be cleared of all passengers by 10am or earlier. You'll be given a time and place to meet to disembark. You can use the Sanctuary but you won't have much time there as it opens at 8am and disembarkation starts before then. Not much point to take your carry-on up there only to turn around within half an hour or an hour.
