molole Posted October 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2017 Just wondering. How about $100 per day for an oceanview cabin?
denatravels Posted October 1, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2017 Depends on the cruise. Yes, it does sound good but I wouldn’t even pay that for the Caribbean right now. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
bones774 Posted October 1, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2017 (edited) You could've gotten the breakaway sailing today, no single supp, for $54 a day not including port tax and dsc, those charges are mostly fixed(please no more DSC rants). i think there are more cruises coming just like that. Just checked, next week sailing same deal. Edited October 1, 2017 by bones774
nsw104 Posted October 1, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2017 Just wondering. How about $100 per day for an oceanview cabin? I often cruise solo(mainly on Princess) but I think $100/day is a good value, depending how much it costs to get to the port though.
Budget Queen Posted October 1, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2017 The late booking deals for solos on NCL can't be beat. I've taken 17 NCL cruises, 16 of those solos, with NO supplement since March 2016. I am flexible- which is essential. I do see the late deals coming out later- I just did the last 2 sailings of the Dawn to Bermuda and the price drops didn't happen until 2 days prior. (lowest rate, $50 higher a week prior) I did wait out for the lowest. BUT, I am fully accepting of not going and enjoy the chase and crystal ball game. In some cases, I book farther ahead which was the case with my Epic 10-29 sailing- single supplement did drop in August- has been sold out for a few weeks, great itinerary I wanted, so worth it to take a "good" deal and book ahead. Depends what is going to work for you?
